About power in mind

Power in Mind is a sport and exercise psychology consultancy based in Andover, Hampshire, UK. It was founded to help individuals realise how powerful their mind is when it comes to wellbeing and performance.

I work from an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), which helps us identify your values and explore how you can use them to overcome the obstacles you face. I offer a non-judgemental, warm, and safe space for you to explore and make sense of your experiences. Together, we will identify what is important to you, and I will teach you skills that will enable you to deal more effectively with unwanted thoughts and feelings so they have less influence over your behaviour and performance. I will be there to support you on your journey to becoming the athlete you aspire to be.

ACT has been widely used in sporting environments, enabling both youth and adult athletes to reach their wellbeing and performance goals. All work is informed and guided by the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct.
